Research Centre, with NHS project partners, has an exciting research opportunity
for a motivated graduate to explore whether a combination of product-service
systems (PSS) and Open Source (OS) product design can be used for the design and
delivery of affordable medical imaging services in primary care (e.g. ultrasound
scanner). The project is part of the Open-Source Medical Innovation Initiative
at Cranfield University, which aims to generate a step change in the development
of medical devices, by building on competitive design research in products and
PSS and OS product design research.
